Batman: The Animated Series changed the look of both the characters and of animation in general. The use of dark backgrounds in the cartoon, termed "Dark Deco," redefined the image of Gotham City. This hit WB series, which ran from 1992-1995, updated the characters personalities and looks. This first wave of two-packs featuring the re-vamped Batman stars, is scheduled to include: Batman & Batgirl, Batman & Catwoman, Batman & Nightwing, Batman & Robin, Batman & Two-Face, and Batman & Joker.
