POSITION: Marketing Supervisor

DEPT:  Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Supervisor’s responsibilities include the areas of social media, company web sites, traditional media, cross promotions, brand development, product placement, copy writing, and overall supervision of the marketing team.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist marketing associate with trade show planning
• Expand awareness of company brands
• Assist marketing associate in sales support functions
• Assist in creating copy for packaging, press releases and advertising
• Assist Marketing coordinator with contest follow up and tracking
• All other duties as assigned 

WEB SITE DUTIES

• Maintain and update various company websites
• Take lead in updating content of web site and web store
• Assist in maintaining and updating email and fan club list
• Respond to mail, fax and email in regards to customer inquiries and fulfillment issues
• Take lead in expanding web store and presence on the web
• Take lead in utilizing social media to expand company connection to the fans

TRADE SHOW AND CONSUMER DUTIES

• Assist in planning and budgeting for trade shows
• Attend trade shows as needed
• Assist in preparing and tracking responsibilities for promoting company at shows
• Assist in preparing product specifically for shows as well as order inventory for shows

 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word as well as internet search engines.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
