Marketing Assistant - Social Media (DCD) - INTERNSHIP

 

Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. is looking to fill Marketing Social Media Intern position.

You will work within our busy Marketing Department providing articles and materials for our consumer social media platforms, e-newsletters and other publications about comics, graphic novels, toys and other pop-culture merchandise.

 

DUTIES

Create stories, posts and articles

Manage articles regarding comic books, graphic novels and toys

Post maintenance and linkupdating

Conduct short interviews with comic book writers/artists/other subjects

Produce press releases

REQUIREMENTS

Strong writing skills

Knowledge and interest in comics and graphic novels a big plus

Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.

Basic HTML skills

knowledge of content management systems

PR and marketing related coursework

 

Flexible scheduling, 2-3 days per week for a total of  8-15 hours per week. Stipend to be paid upon completion of the internship.
