POSITION TITLE: Inventory Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inventory Associate will conduct a comprehensive inventory of pop culture related collectibles currently owned and exhibited by the business ventures of Stephen A. Geppi.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Primary duties include gathering data, identifying, tracking, and researching inventory.
- Providing management with information regarding storage, location and all movement of said inventory.
- Analyzing data with regard to all current and future inventory and related items employing primarily, but not exclusively IntelliTrack Stratus Check-in and Check-out program, Microsoft Excel, and related in-house internal and external search programs.
- Demonstrating the proper handling and storage of inventory, which may include Fine Arts and Collectibles
- Providing periodic progress and status reports of tasks and management requests.
- Maintaining accurate, documented, detailed records and reports.
- Relocating collections, maintaining cleanliness of working area.
- All other duties as assigned, which may include trips to other facilities as requested by management.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Physical requirements: applicants must be able to lift 50 -60 pound boxes and operate light duty equipment if necessary.
- Prior knowledge of comic book and pop culture industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Motivated self-starter who is able to work autonomously and does not require micromanagement.
- Experience with inventory policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma required
- Applicant will also be proficient with computers, software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and must possess a solid work ethic.
Training will be provided and applicant will also be expected to progressively learn as responsibilities are added.
