POSITION:       Retail Sales Associate

LOCATION:      Geppi’s Entertainment Museum - Baltimore, MD

REPORTS TO:  Retail Sales Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Associate will support the Retail Sales Manager and Assistant Retail Sales Manager in encouraging and processing sales of store items and tickets. This is a part time, hourly position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Administrative

• Assist administrators in running reports documenting product and ticket sales, voucher usage and other tracking

Retail

• Support the set up and presentation of display items
• Assist in the preparation of store product for display and sales
• Suggest store product to be highlighted in store and through an e-commerce site on GEM's webpage
• Operate POS system, assist customers, encourage and process sales of tickets and store products
• Will sell merchandise and tickets and work with security to control museum access
• Follow instructions from the museum’s crisis management plan, customer service plan and other operational manuals, as well as those given directly by the museum’s management staff

Inventory

• Assist in gathering regular inventories

Special Projects

• Conduct tours of the museum as necessary
• Any additional duties as assigned by Director of Administration , Retail Sales Manager, or the Assistant Retail Sales Manager
