Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. was established in 1982 to provide comic book specialty retailers with wholesale, non-returnable comic books and related merchandise.
After more than 20 years of service, Diamond has become as the world's largest distributor of English-language comics and related merchandise, with a network of strategically-located Distribution Centers throughout the world.
Can I buy comic books or other merchandise from Diamond?
Since Diamond is a wholesale distributor, it only sells to retailers who have accounts with Diamond.

What is Previews?
Previews is Diamond's monthly catalog of comic books and pop culture collectibles. Each month, Previews includes listings for almost every comic book scheduled to be on sale, approximately two months in the future. Also, accompanying each listing is a short description of upcoming issues, how much they will cost, whether they’ll be in color or black-and-white, and other points of interest. Previews provides information on other merchandise, too, including graphic novels, toys, trading cards, books, games, videos and much more.
How can I buy the merchandise featured in Previews?
You can order any item you see in Previews! Every item will potentially be available from your local shop (depending on whether they order the item), and will be in their store beginning in approximately two months time. Also, you can go to your local comic book specialty store and request a copy of the Consumer Order Form when you buy the printed Previews catalog -- the store will order the item(s) just for you! In addition, many shops operate a “Pull and Hold” subscription service whereby they will regularly order your monthly comic books and hold them for you to pick up later. How can I find a comic book shop near me?
Ten years ago, Diamond created the Comic Shop Locator Service (CSLS), an innovative tool that allows consumers to find comic book shops in their area.
The CSLS gives fans in the United States and Canada the ability to find the names and telephone numbers of up to three participating comic book specialty shops within a 32-mile radius, simply by dialing one easy-to-remember, toll-free number -- (888) COMIC-BOOK (266-4226) -- and entering their ZIP code into the CSLS’s touch-tone interface.
The CSLS is also available in an online version (http://www.comicshoplocator.com). CSLS Online allows users to enter their ZIP code into a graphical interface, which then rewards them with detailed information on the three stores closest to their location.

As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world are giving away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
