The mask is removable and can be displayed on the character or placed separately on a bronze pole adorned with a spider logo that stands next to the bust. To assure 100% realism, the studio that produced this piece three-dimensionally scanned actor Willem Dafoe. The information was then processed, digitally output, and combined with traditional sculpting to create the final sculpture.
