Returning to Konan, she desperately tries to find her missing best friend, only to be confronted by one of the deadly Seiryu celestial warriors, instead.   Meanwhile, Yui becomes drastically twisted by her traumatic experience in Kutou and seeks to avenge herself on Miaka for abandoning her, by stealing Tamahome away and aligning herself with the evil Nakago to prevent Miaka from gathering the Suzaku celestial warriors.
