One of the most intriguing characters from a new film Mirror Mask is the "Sphinx Cat." Here we have a surreal critter spawned by the imaginations of Dave McKean and Neil Gaiman who juxtaposes a photo/video facial aspect with a vibrantly winged feline body. The effect is unsettling and made more so when the cats stalk protagonists Helena and Valentine with mayhem on their mind.
