The first expansion set for the epic Lord of the Rings boardgame. Cannot be played without the core game. As with the main game, this expansion set is fully illustrated by world recognized Tolkien artist John Howe and designed by master game designer Reiner Knizia. The game provides players with two additional game-boards (Bree and Isengard), more rules, and additional cards for their quest to destroy the One Ring and defeat the dark lord Sauron. As the name indicates, the expansion adds new allies and enemies to the game. Players will enjoy the meaningful introduction of staple LOTR characters such as Strider, Barrow Wights, Saruman, and the evil Spiders of Mirkwood (and many more).
