Diamond, Premier Publishers to Provide 20 New Titles for December 26 Holiday Week

Diamond and its Premier Publishers have reached an agreement to provide a limited slate of 20 new titles for release during Christmas holiday week.

DC Entertainment, Marvel Comics and Image Comics are scheduled to deliver four titles each for on sale December 26, while publishers BOOM! Entertainment, Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Entertainment and IDW Publishing will provide two titles each to comic book shops for the week.

"A smaller count of titles shipping for the holiday season has happened in the past," commented Diamond Vice President of Retailer Services Chris Powell. "With the limited UPS shipping schedule for that week, it was necessary to curtail the amount of product delivered. Retailers will still have a good supply of titles for sale, while also having to spend less resources readying during the the holiday week."

In addition, the PREVIEWS January 2019 Catalog was scheduled to be delivered on December 26, but will now be delivered to stores on Friday, December 28.
