POSITION:  Administrative Assistant - Marketing




The Administrative Assistant is an entry level position, responsible for implementing the daily supportive tasks for Alliance Game Distributors’ (Alliance) Marketing department under the direction of the Marketing Manager.



  • Places outbound daily customer emails, coordinating with the sales team to increase pre-orders on targeted products and product lines
  • Coordinates communication strategies for promotions, works with other company departments to ensure suitability
  • Manages Alliance’s social media presence daily (Facebook, Twitter)
  • Assists the Web staff in maintaining the image and information database
  • Assists in writing copy for appropriate marketing materials on Alliance’s website, Facebook, and Twitter feeds, and daily Alliance Alert emails
  • Organizes and updates sales reports for key vendors weekly
  • Monitors and maintains the website from a Marketing perspective
  • Ensures consistent branding and messaging throughout all Marketing venues
  • Assists the Marketing Manager with marketing research and collection of product data
  • Supports the Marketing team in the planning and execution of projects related to Alliance’s annual Open House
  • All other duties as assigned



  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Previous Marketing/Customer Service experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge with social media marketing
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Windows-based computers and programs (Microsoft Office essential).
