NECA’s Iron Maiden: Eddie – Live After Death AF Ready for Delivery

The legendary metal mascot that has adorned the cover of Iron Maiden albums for over 25 years is crawling back from the grave in NECA’s Iron Maiden: Eddie “Live After Death” Action Figure (OCT064357I), now in stock at Diamond!

The history of Eddie a.k.a. “Edward the Head,” a zombie-like creature created by Derek Riggs as cover art for the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, is as legendary as the group he cohorts with. Initially displayed as a theatrical mask for Iron Maiden’s self-titled first album, Eddie was a stage prop that was supposed to eject food and liquid onto drummer Doug Sampson. The band liked Eddie’s crude character so much that they named him their official mascot, and he appeared on all of their violent album covers to display his twisted grin and psychotic stare for all the adoring fans. Now, from one of the band’s most popular album covers, Live After Death, Eddie is featured as a 7”-tall figure emerging from a grave. Complete with snap-on legs to crawl in or out of the ground, it comes in clamshell packaging.

Iron Maiden fans and anyone who collects metal memorabilia should enjoy the Iron Maiden: Eddie Live After Death Action Figure, which is currently available from Diamond!
