2003 Ignatz Award Nominees Announced
The Small Press Expo (SPX) has announced the nominations for the 2003
Ignatz Awards, spotlighting a wide range of comics creators, titles, and
publishers.
According to a press release from the Small Press Expo (SPX), the Ignatz Awards are "a festival prize to recognize outstanding achievement in comics and cartooning. The ballot is created by a panel of five cartoonists and then voted on by the attendees of the show. This offers a unique reflection of the views held by both professionals and their fans." The awards will be presented on Sunday, September 7, at this year's Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD.
Chosen by a panel comprised of Pam Bliss, Ariel Bordeaux, David Hahn, Batton Lash, and Matt Madden, the seventh annual Ignatz nominees are (Please Note: Available titles indicated with Diamond item codes and/or linked in-stock lists):
