POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Management Systems Manager is to be the IT Support Manager for the JDA RedPrairie Warehouse Management System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The qualified applicant will be responsible for the management of WMS projects and will focus on planning, designing, programming, and the implementation of WMS initiatives. These initiatives will include improvements to the WMS, identifying and correcting bugs, data analysis, and upkeep of interfaces to host system. The Warehouse Management Systems Manager position provides day to day support to the distribution center to facilitate production goals and to ensure that they are met and/or exceeded.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- 4+ years of experience with JDA RedPrairie System software, WMS and Labor
- Ability to successfully lead the development and implementation of WMS projects
- Strong development skill set in MS-SQL
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience operating in an RF and voice enabled, scan based environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong job related characteristics: teamwork, judgment, accountability, sense of urgency, customer focus, interpersonal skills, and planning and organizing
