POSITION TITLE: Action Figure and Collectible Toys Sales Representative
DEPT: Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Action Figure and Collectibles Toy Sales Representative's primary focus is to grow Diamond's sales to non-comic, or 'Outreach' accounts, establishing Diamond as a regular distribution source for these accounts that exist outside of the comic market. This includes increasing the order activity of active Outreach accounts, and renewing our relationships with those accounts that have not recently ordered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Call on assigned Diamond Outreach customers on a regular basis.
•Build relationships and sales of new and already established Outreach retailer accounts.
• Review Diamond merchandise to solicit the best products for each assigned customer.
• Inform customers of the advantages of buying from Diamond Comic Distributors, establishing DCD as a competitive distribution choice for each retailer.
• Work with DCD's New Accounts Departments, keeping up on the needs of recently opened accounts.
• Account retention - call dormant accounts, renew their relationships with DCD.
• All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• High School diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred.
• One plus years sales/customer service experience.
• Must be computer literate. Data Entry and typing skills required. (Outlook, Excel, Word and Access for Windows preferred).
• Enthusiastic out-going personality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn about toys and others collectibles.
• Knowledge of Diamond Comic Distributors services and procedures is a plus.
• Must be able to perform well under pressure.
