POSITION TITLE: CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE
DEPARTMENT: CUSTOMER SERVICE

POSITION SUMMARY:

Customer Service and sales in a customer oriented sales environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Fields questions, suggestions, concerns regarding Diamond policy, service, etc. from customers in an assigned territory.
  2. Makes "welcome" calls to new customer to explain Diamond services and policies.
  3. Suggestive sales and outgoing sales calls to assigned customers.
  4. Builds familiarity with customer base and specifics of each assigned territory.
  5. Order entry functions. Processes damage and shortage calls, enters reorders, advances, backorders and late order forms.
  6. Provides feedback from customer to Team Leaders/Customer Service Manager concerning industry trends, customer suggestions, etc.
  7. All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Minimum high school degree or equivalent. College preferred.
  2. One plus years customer service experience.
  3. Basic computer skills must (Windows/Windows 95 preferred).
  4. Sales experience a plus.
  5. Knowledge of DCD services, policies and systems a plus.
  6. Industry knowledge a plus.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
