POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Trainee is responsible for developing new business and reactivating old accounts.  Once the account base is successfully developed to a set volume by management, it has the potential to grow into a full Account Representative position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Pursue leads to open new accounts
  • Contact inactive accounts and attempt to reactivate them
  • Maintain a territory of stores by selling new releases and restocks on, at a minimum, a weekly basis
  • Aggressively get preorders from accounts using Game Trade Magazine and other more targeted efforts
  • Develop strong relationships and earn the loyalty and trust of customers
  • Maintain the appropriate documentation about each account
  • Assist the Credit and Collection Department in maintaining the financial health of customers’ accounts
  • Use whatever means are necessary to ease the flow of communication between Alliance and their customers in order to more efficiently serve customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation/environment

About this Position
The world’s largest distributor of comics and pop culture goods is searching for a Tech Support/ POS Specialist who will work on the team responsible for the end-user interaction regarding Diamond’s retailer-facing web pages and applications.  The POS/Tech Rep serves as a liaison between IT staff, programmers, and customers to diagnose, analyze, and assist with the resolution of customer issues with Microsoft’s Retail Management System (RMS), Retail Hero’s Retail Management Hero (RMH) and Diamond’s add in module, ComicSuite, while also providing training and ongoing support for new users

Position Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will have one or more years’ customer service/technical support experience with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Qualified candidates will be available to work 9:00AM-6:00PM, Monday – Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours.  
  • Strong working knowledge of computer skills and data analysis skills.  Hardware configuration skills preferred and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office a must (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access).   Experience with Microsoft RMS, Retail Hero’s Retail Management Hero or other POS systems preferred.
  • Qualified candidates will be responsible for assisting retailers with initial hardware and software set up.
  • Training retailers on using Point of Sale (POS) and other add-on software applications. 
  • Tier 1 and 2 problem solving with customers concerning POS and other add-on software applications.
  • Assist with internal and external technical issues; researching and analyzing data to resolve various system issues.

ORDER PROCESSING ANALYST  —-DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS, INC.

POSITION TITLE: Order Processing Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

This entry level position is responsible for the data management of various areas including PREVIEWS Item Processing. This position will also compile monthly Diamond orders and place purchase orders on a timely basis for all assigned suppliers.  Ensures all purchase orders have the appropriate terms, discounts, minimums, increments, etc. This position will also be responsible for maintaining vendor item data to ensure accurate processing of customer orders. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain data on all assigned items. Communicate changes/additions to appropriate departments.
  2. Process and place orders with vendors.
  3. Review catalog information each month to determine what specifications should be included on purchase orders.
  4. Audit and approve outgoing purchase orders. Place timely and accurate purchase orders.
  5. Assist vendors, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Diamond Book Distributors and Customer Service with questions regarding orders, product and MCBA data.
  6. Maintain vendor data.
  7. Assist in the daily creation of new items to offer online to Diamond’s accounts.
  8. All other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Computer skills and experience in management of data systems.
  3. Experience in MS Office

POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant position is a FULL TIME,ENTRY LEVEL position in a very busy Retailer Services Department. The position requires 30-40 hours per week and offers some flexibility with scheduling. It is a great opportunity to work with our retailer customers while working from home or in an office! Reporting to the Retailer Services Department’s Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, handling administrative duties and functions of the Retailer Services Department. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Distribute incoming correspondence to appropriate personnel
  • Data entry
  • Generating weekly/monthly reports
  • Occasionally answer incoming calls and help callers connect with appropriate department or staff

The world’s largest distributor of comics and pop culture goods is searching for a Retailer Services Representative for our energetic Retailer Services Department. Customer Service Representatives are the “public face” of the company, interacting with our retailer customers around the world. They welcome new customers and familiarize them with our systems and procedures while developing and fostering relationships with new and longtime customers. They assist retailers with order questions or issues, provide information on products, and help retailers identify new products that will be a good fit for their stores. The Representative will enter orders taken via phone, email, or our online portal, and will follow up on any issues reported with the support of their team leads and other team members.

Position Requirements
Qualified candidates will have at least one year of customer service or call center experience with excellent communication, data entry, and problem-solving skills.  Qualified candidates will be available to work 9:00AM-6:00PM or 10:00AM-7:00PM Monday – Friday. Qualified candidates will be responsible for answering phones, responding to online inquiries, data entry, follow-up and providing excellent customer service to our retailer customers. They will also relay feedback from customers to company management and vendors. Qualified Candidates will demonstrate basic proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and strong organizational and time-management skills.

Warehouse Associates are responsible for assisting in all aspects of operating a busy distribution facility.  This includes, but is not limited to shipping and receiving, picking and packing, adherence to all safety procedures and policies as well as all company rules and regulations.  Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time.  Also, employees will be responsible for all other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Pick customer orders using a handheld scanning device
  • Pack customer orders following the company’s procedures
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Organize and restock picking shelves with product
  • Maintain a clean work area

The world’s largest distributor of comics and pop culture goods is searching for an experienced RedPrairie WMS Developer for its Olive Branch, MS Distribution Center with excellent solution design, documentation, and development skills to join our team. The team player will work with senior leadership and warehouse operations to craft and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business and our customers. The WMS Developer will also be a strong proponent of fully leveraging standard functionality and minimizing system changes, ensuring that enhancements are operationally and financially justified.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Assess the current system state of multiple warehouse and back-office systems
  • Author documentation and diagrams for all custom logic and integration
  • Lead design, configuration, and implementation of changes on all warehouse systems
  • Engage with warehouse operations teams to understand system needs and gaps
  • Mentor others on the IT team to ensure system uptime

  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, C, MOCA, and Groovy – C# and SQL Server are a plus
  • Proficiency in reading MOCA trace files to research the root cause of failures
  • Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to all levels of the organization from warehouse associates to executive leadership - Spanish is a plus

The WMS SuperUser/Program Manager will also be a strong proponent of consistent operational processes and industry best practices to maximize the investment in hardware and software.

POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:

Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. is seeking an aggressive Sales Executive with a strong background in Toys & Collectibles and experience in sales to Mass Market, Specialty Retail Chains or International customers. The Account Executive’s primary focus is to aggressively prospect both domestically and internationally for new customers and increase our customer base while selling to and maintaining a strong relationship with established accounts. Additional responsibilities include product presentations, POS Analysis, and forecasting. Qualified candidates must be well informed in the world of pop culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
