POSITION:     Full Stack .Net Web Developer

DEPARTMENT:   Information Technology

POSITION SUMMARY:

The full stack .Net developer is responsible for designing, coding, and supporting modern web-based applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing websites and applications
  • Develop user and system requirements for new websites and applications
  • Collaborate with teams to develop, test, and deploy applications and systems
  • Assist with maintaining IIS and SQL Server
  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to communicate with end-users to determine requirements and system development lifecycle components
  • Minimum 5 years programming experience with ASP.NET and C#
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Entity Framework
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience with code versioning tools (Git, TFS, Azure Devops)
  • Experience with Web Services (REST)
  • Experience with Relational Databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with .NET Core and EF Core a plus
  • Experience with React and Vue a plus
  • Experience with Mobile Development a plus
  • Must have a high motivation to learn and succeed

SALES EXECUTIVE (TOYS & COLLECTIBLES) -- DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS

Distributing the comics and collectibles that have inspired the biggest blockbuster movies of today, Diamond is integral to the success of this market.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. is seeking an aggressive Sales Executive with a strong background in Toys & Collectibles and experience in sales to Mass Market, Specialty Retail Chains or International customers. The Account Executive’s primary focus is to aggressively prospect both domestically and internationally for new customers and increase our customer base while selling to and maintaining a strong relationship with established accounts. Additional responsibilities include product presentations, POS Analysis, and forecasting. Qualified candidates must be well informed in the world of pop culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Call on assigned customers on a regular basis.
  • Build relationships and sales with new accounts.
  • Review merchandise to solicit the best products for each assigned customer.
  • Inform customers of the services we offer, establishing the company as a competitive distribution choice.
  • Work with the company’s New Accounts Department, keeping up with the needs of recently opened accounts.
  • Use Internet and other research resources to prospect for customer leads for our varied product lines.
  • Provide feedback concerning industry trends, customer promotions and planogramming.
  • Responsible for providing customer service to assigned customers.
  • Follow-up account administration from close of sale through product delivery.
  • Coordinate execution with internal teams (purchasing, order processing, credit, marketing, warehouse operations) as needed
  • Represent the company and open new accounts at trade shows.
  • Initiate follow – up phone calls for leads established at trade shows.
  • Some travel required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred.
  • One plus year’s sales experience.
  • Must have B2B sales experience. Mass/Specialty sales experience preferred.
  • Must be computer literate. Typing skills required. (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred).
  • Enthusiastic out-going personality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn about toys, comic books, graphic novels, and other pop culture collectibles.
  • Ability to work independently of others.
  • Must be able to perform well with tight deadlines.

RETAILER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE -- DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS

About this Position

The world’s largest distributor of comics and pop culture goods is searching for a Retailer Services Representative for our energetic Retailer Services Department. If you are interested in an opportunity to work from home, or to work in an office with others, while interacting with our customers, then this is the job for you!

Retailer Services Representatives are the “public face” of the company, interacting with our retailer customers around the world. They welcome new customers and familiarize them with our systems and procedures while developing and fostering relationships with new and longtime customers. They assist retailers with order questions or issues, provide information on products, and help retailers identify new products that will be a good fit for their stores. The Representative will enter orders taken via phone, email, or our online portal, and will follow up on any issues reported with the support of their team leads and other team members.

Position Requirements

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of customer service or call center experience with excellent communication, data entry, and problem-solving skills.  Qualified candidates will be available to work 9:00AM-6:00PM or 10:00AM-7:00PM Monday – Friday. Qualified candidates will be responsible for answering phones, responding to online inquiries, data entry, follow-up and providing excellent customer service to our retailer customers. They will also relay feedback from customers to company management and vendors. Qualified Candidates will demonstrate basic proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and strong organizational and time-management skills.

Knowledge of the pop culture industry, such as comics, games, and collectibles, is a plus. High school graduates (or equivalent), college graduates and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
