REMINDER: Diamond Opens Eisner “Spirit of Comics” Retailer Award Web Page
The 2005 Will Eisner "Spirit of Comics" Retailer Award will be
announced at this year's Comic-Con International: San Diego, and Diamond is
making it easy for retailers to learn more about the honor via a new web page
dedicated to the prestigious award.
Located on the "News & Info" page of Diamond Online's Retailer Services Area at https://retailer.diamondcomics.com/main/eisner2005/eisnerretaward.htm, the page provides the judging criteria used to determine each year's recipient, and features a listing of all previous "Spirit of Comics" honorees -- complete with links to video presentations created by 2003 & 2004's recipients! Additionally, visitors will find basic information on the award, including a link to its official page on the Comic-Con International: San Diego website.
Established in 1993 by Eisner and presented under the auspices of Comic-Con International: San Diego, the Will Eisner "Spirit of Comics" Retailer Award recognizes retailers for excellence in a number of categories, including support for a wide variety of innovative material, industry and retailing knowledge, community activity, store image quality, and adherence to standard ethical business practices.
