REMINDER: Holiday Shipping Schedule
To give customers advance notice of holiday periods when
shipping schedules may be disrupted, Diamond offers this schedule of upcoming
U.S. and Canadian holidays through the end of the year, along with a breakdown
of the impact these holidays may have on their shipments.
Direct Shipments
Due to UPS holidays, there will be no direct shipments available on the following dates: December 25, December 31, and January 1, 2003.
Weekly Shipments
The table below explains when regular weekly shipments will arrive on each holiday week for the balance of 2002. Reships will also arrive according to this schedule, taking into account the modifications enumerated under "Reships."
Reships
As a result of the holidays, the following changes will apply to Reship orders placed with Diamond:
- Orders placed by Tuesday, December 17 at 3:00 p.m. EST will arrive in stores with retailers' regular weekly shipments (on Thursday, December 26).
- No Reship orders will be shipped during New Year's week (December 30-January 3, 2003).
- Orders placed by Tuesday, December 31 at 3:00 p.m. EST will arrive in stores with retailers' regular weekly shipments (on Wednesday, January 8).
Home Office
Retailers are also advised that, due to the coming holidays, Diamond's Home Office will be closed on Christmas (December 25) and New Year's Day (January 1), and will close at 2:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve (December 24).
