Holiday Consignment Returns Due by January 24
From the January 2003 Diamond Dialogue:
As a reminder, participants in Diamond's Holiday Consignment program must return any unsold product in like-new condition to Diamond's Reorder Universe/Star System in Memphis, TN, by January 24.
Retailers will be responsible for the cost of shipping returns to Memphis, or be subject to a 2% of retail processing fee if they drop them off at their Distribution Center. Any product not returned by that date will be billed at the retailer's regular Reorder discount on their mid-February invoice, and be subject to their established payment terms. Items not returned in like-new condition will be returned and invoiced to the retailer.
Please Note: Diamond customers who participated in the program will receive a customized Holiday Consignment Return Form with their January 8 shipment, which should accompany their consignment return. If a participating retailer doesn't receive this form, they should immediately contact their Diamond Customer Service Representative to send them a copy.
Retailers who still have questions regarding the return of unsold Holiday Consignment product should contact their Customer Service Representative.
