Still Time to Register for Alliance Open House
Diamond customers are invited to join Alliance Game Distributors for its
Sixth Annual Alliance Open House, which will be held on August 24-25 at
the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne, IN.
Besides giving attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss issues impacting their business with representatives from Alliance, the Open House also will allow customers to take part in programming that will include an Exhibit Hall, a gala Dinner Reception with manufacturer presentations, Open Gaming, and a Midwest Warehouse Shopping Day! Plus, retailers can get freebies, prizes, and more.
A key highlight of the event will be a series of Multi-track Retailing Workshops covering a wealth of topics of interest to attendees. At press time, the sessions - to be held on Saturday August 24 - were scheduled to include: "Anatomy of Shopping" and "Advertising & Marketing" (both hosted by Game Manufacturers of America Retail Division Chairman Chris Watson); and "The Store Manager's Training Guide" and "The Bottom Line - Discounting," (both hosted by retailer Dave Wallace, Owner of the six-store Fantasy Shop, Inc. chain). Plans for additional workshops are pending, and will be announced when they are finalized.
The registration fee for the Open House is $35, and attendees will receive a $50 credit towards any products offered at the Midwest Warehouse Shopping Day during the event.
