Diamond Offers Canadian Customers Direct Ship Reorder Option
Effective the week of June 14, Diamond customers in Canada will have the option of placing direct ship reorders, resulting in more timely delivery of their reorder shipments.“Previously, the cut-off for Canadian customers to place reorders was Sundays at 5:00 p.m. for delivery two Wednesdays later,” explained Diamond Director of Operations Ed Briggs. “Under this new option, a direct ship reorder placed by a Canadian retailer by 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday would be picked and shipped to our Plattsburgh Distribution Center that night. The reorder would then be sent into Montreal to our small package delivery company, Canpar, on Monday, and ultimately delivered to most customers before the end of the week”.
For direct ship reorders that arrive in Montreal on Monday, transit times via Canpar will be as follows:

“Thanks to this new option,” Briggs continued, “most Canadian retailers can now place direct ship reorders on a Wednesday evening for titles that are selling well in their stores and have those items in hand by the following week. We hope that our Canadian customers will welcome and utilize this latest improvement to Diamond’s reorder service.”
