REMINDER: Marvel Announces Marvel Knights Spider-Man #20 Second Printing Variant
In response to stunning sales on the latest chapter of "The Other"
storyline running through many of its Spider-Man titles, Marvel Comics has
announced Marvel Knights Spider-Man #20 Second Printing Variant
(OCT058044D)!
Sporting a variant cover by Mike Wieringo featuring Spider-Man in his Scarlet Spider costume, this variant edition, written by superstar Reginald Hudlin, carries a Final Order Cut-off (FOC) Date of Thursday, December 1, and is expected to ship to stores December 21.
This 12-part story has already shaken Spidey's world to the core, as Peter Parker is pushed to the edge -- and beyond. Beginning in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (FNSM) #1 (Second Printing Variant: SEP058045D) and crossing over to Marvel Knights Spider-Man #19 (Second Printing Variant: SEP058169D) and Amazing Spider-Man #525 (Second Printing Variant: SEP058241D), the first story arc was written entirely by David. The torch passed in November to Reginald Hudlin for the next three parts, starting with FNSM #2 (Second Printing Variant: SEP058479D), and then J. Michael Straczynski takes the reins in December for the following three issues. Each writer returns to his respective title for the big finale in January.
Spinning out of events and featuring characters created by Straczynski in stories reprinted in the Amazing Spider-Man: Coming Home TP (STAR14636D), Marvel's web-slinger faces the one villain he's never been able to defeat, leading up to the fight of his life.
