Emily the Strange Pop-Up Store Brings Dark Horse’s Goth Girl Added Exposure

No caption. A “pop-up” store at Culver City, CA’s Royal/T Café is turning the spotlight on Dark Horse Comics’ Emily the Strange, building interest in the character who will soon be haunting Hollywood in a big-screen adaptation starring Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz.

The 10,000-square-foot shop “soft opens” Friday, October 15 with a Grand Opening Party planned for Tuesday, October 26 – just in time for Halloween – featuring live music and a DJ, giveaways, celebrity guests, a costume contest and much more. The combination art space, café and gift shop will remain open for four weeks, exposing to the public numerous Emily the Strange books, artworks, collectibles, and themed merchandise, including Dark Horse’s The Art of Emily the Strange HC (JUN090043V).
