.html
ComicsOne, the sole publisher of Chinese Kung Fu comics in the United States, has announced that it will publish comics adaptations of Wang Du Lu's famous series of Chinese martial arts novels, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Illustrated by Andy Seto via breathtaking artwork and cutting-edge computer coloring, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a beautiful story set against the gorgeous backdrop of Ancient China that is an exciting allegory of epic proportions. Readers will rejoin warriors Shu Lien and the legendary Li Mu Bai as they fight the love they feel for each other - and many highly skilled and elaborate Kung Fu masters.

The theatrical release of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon made over $100 million - truly unprecedented for a foreign language subtitled film release here in the States. However, the epic story portrayed in the film only depicted the events at the end of the series' fourth book. Wang Du Lu's epic series encompasses five books, with ComicsOne's adaptations beginning with the third book and continuing through the final volume.

Fans of the Academy Award-winning film will be thrilled to read about the early exploits of Li Mu Bai and Shu Lien, how they got into the emotional entanglement audiences will remember from the movie, as well as learning the backgrounds of a host of new and intriguing characters. Plus, readers will discover how Shu Lien fares after the tragic loss of her beloved Li Mu Bai.

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon stunned Kung Fu movie fanatics and general moviegoers alike," said ComicsOne Editor in Chief Shawn Sanders. "The brilliant storytelling and mind-blowing choreography that movie fans fell in love with is fully encapsulated in our full-color, 120-page manhua title - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will be solicited in the September Previews for November shipping.
