The Xeric Foundation has announced its most recent grant recipients,
resulting in a total of $24,889.00 being distributed to seven comic book
creators.

Established by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Peter Laird, the Northampton, MA-based Xeric Foundation offers financial assistance to self-publishing comic book creators in the U.S. and Canada, and to qualified charitable and non-profit organizations in western Massachusetts. The foundation has awarded in excess of $1.335M to comics creators and non-profit organizations since its first grant cycle in September 1992.
