From The Scoop: Transformers: Peter Cullen

Peter Cullen, the voice actor behind Optimus Prime and Ironhide in the original Transformers series, has had one of the most prolific careers in voice acting in all of Hollywood. His career began in 1962 when he started as a back-up voice actor, providing the voices for most of the additional characters.
Aside from working on animated series, Cullen has also done voice-over work for such show as The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, as well as providing the voices for the Predator in both films and the voice of K.A.R.R. on Knight Rider. Cullen even portrayed the voice of the lovability-depressed, Eeyore is his animated incarnation.
Currently, Cullen has returned to the world of the Transformers to voice Prime again in the upcoming live-action film from DreamWorks, SKG.
