Remember: Heritage Auctions Run Through Sunday
Heritage Comics, the auction presence for
premium comics, is holding concurrent auctions that conclude with the end of
Wizard World: Chicago.
Auction At Chicago Features Lee, Geppi Collections!
The Heritage Comics Auction will be a conducted at the same time as the convention, with more than 90 signed manuscripts, vintage comics, movie props and original artwork, including treasured items from the personal collection of Stan Lee (such as Lee's coveted file copies of Fantastic Four No. 1, Amazing Fantasy No. 15, Avengers No. 1, and more).
The auction also includes in excess of $2 million in Golden Age Comics consigned by Diamond Comic Distributors and from the personal collection of Steve Geppi. These include such titles as Wonder Woman No. 1, Captain America Comics No. 1, and Daredevil Battles Hitler No. 1.
The Heritage Auction begins at the Doubletree on July 4, with a viewing beginning on July 3 from 4-10pm. The auction then moves to the Convention Center for July 5-6. (Food and beverages will be served on July 4.)
