Dark Horse, Blockbuster to Promote Hellboy Comics in Hellboy DVD!
Dark Horse Comics has announced it is partnering with Blockbuster
Video to promote the Hellboy comics and collections to
non-traditional comics buyers with a special mini-comic inserted in Columbia
TriStar Home Video's upcoming Hellboy 2-Disc DVD

As a result of this arrangement, copies of the Hellboy DVD sold at Blockbuster stores in the U.S. and Canada will contain a 4 ½" x 6 ½", 32-page Hellboy comic book, which in turn will feature the classic Hellboy story, "The Corpse," as written and drawn by series creator Mike Mignola. In addition, the mini-comic is expected to contain information on the Comic Shop Locator Service (CSLS), resulting in countless consumers being directed to specialty shops in search of additional Hellboy products!
