Marvel Comics has announced that one of its most heavily anticipated issues
of the year, Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch's Avengers #500, has
sold out at the publisher and at Diamond! To help ensure that True Believers
everywhere can get a copy of this white-hot issue, Marvel has extended the Final
Order Cut-Off (FOC) date of its Avengers #500 Director's Cut

to today, July 29, and the special edition is now scheduled to arrive in
stores on August 18 -- just one week before Avengers #501

Written by Bendis and illustrated by Finch, Avengers #500 launches the senses-shattering "Avengers Disassembled" storyline, marking the beginning of the end for the Earth's Mightiest Heroes as fans know them.
