X-Men: Last Stand Premieres Friday
This Friday, 20th Century Fox’s Marvel Comics-based X-Men: The Last Stand (X3) makes its big screen debut, drawing millions of rabid X-fans into theaters, and retailers can capitalize on the excitement with products from Diamond!
Directed by Brett Ratner, X3 is the final film in the 20th Century Fox trilogy. It marks the return of Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, Ian McKellan as Magneto, HalleBerry as Storm and Hugh Jackman as fan-favorite character Wolverine. New additions to the cast include Kelsey Grammer of TV’s Cheers and Frasier as the long-awaited Beast, Ben Foster as Angel, Ellen Page as Shadowcat and Oscar-nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo as Dr. Kavita Rao.
The first two films in the trilogy have been incredible at the box office with a combined $372 million in receipts. Excitement for the final installment is building, with a string of promotional tie-ins and special previews on Fox, and a blockbuster weekend is all but guaranteed.
