Registration for Free Admission to Comic-Con International: San Diego Due Monday, July 17
Diamond customers who plan on taking advantage of free admission to this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego must register their Complimentary Pass Codes online by July 17!
The organizers of the industry’s largest annual convention are once again offering Diamond customers free admission to all four days of Comic-Con International: San Diego from July 20-23 and to the show’s Preview Night on July 19. Just made available to Diamond, Complimentary Pass Codes allow online registrants to print out a unique barcode that will serve as their ticket to the event. Each account may register for up to two free admissions for store employees with the Complimentary Pass Codes, which may be obtained by contacting Diamond Customer Service Manager – Domestic Nance Romer at 1-800-45-COMIC, ext. 811, or by emailing her at rnance@diamondcomics.com. By utilizing Comic-Con International: San Diego’s online form in conjunction with the Complimentary Pass Code, registration for Diamond’s customers will be faster and easier than ever, cutting down retailers’ waiting time at the convention.
Once a retailer has received a Complimentary Pass Code, they must direct their Internet browsers to https://www.tradeshowregistrar.com/regsystem14/?event=CC2006 to register. The self-explanatory registration form will ask for the retailer’s name, store name, address, postal code and Complimentary Pass Code, and prompt for more information on a second registrant after completion of the initial form. Once the registration process is finalized, retailers will be able to print a barcode -- which will also be sent to their email address -- which they must take with them to the Industry/Professional Registration booth at the convention. (Please Note: Retailers must register their Complimentary Pass Code online by Monday, July 17 in order to receive free admittance.) Despite instructions on the registration site to bring their complimentary pass to the show, retailers need only bring the printed barcodes to obtain admission to the convention, as pass codes were distributed via Nance Romer instead of a physical pass. (Please Note: Retailers will need two Complimentary Pass Codes to receive two free admissions for store employees; limit two Complimentary Pass Codes per account.)
Customers unable to register online should speak with Romer about alternative registration options. For more information on Comic-Con International: San Diego, visit its website at www.comic-con.org.
