Diamond/Alliance, WizKids Announce HorrorClix Halloween House Party
Diamond & Alliance Game Distributors, in conjunction with WizKids, are hosting a special tournament event in October for stores carrying and running HorrorClix events, giving retailers the chance to win HorrorClix limited editions, the super-hot Great Cthulhu “big figures” and even an exclusive pre-release for the first HorrorClix expansion, The Lab!
Contest rules are as follows:
1) Host a HorrorClix Halloween House Party anytime between October 23-31.
2) Your HorrorClix Halloween House Party must be a sealed event (three sealed boosters) and must be registered as a “Venue Supported” event on the WizKids website (www.wizkidsgames.com). This helps players in your area find your event. Specific scenarios for the event will be posted at www.horrorclix.com.
3) Retailers should order HorrorClix Limited Edition prize kits (eight limited edition figures for $12) for players from WizKids’ retailer website.
4) Dress up your store like a haunted house, HorrorClix game board, or just anything spooky and scary!
5) The players should dress up like their favorite HorrorClix figures. They could go low-effort like the Vampire Hunter, or go all out and be The Avatar of Cthulhu. Encourage them to be creative and use their favorite HorrorClix pieces as their guide.
6) Email digital photos of your event and costumed participants to Mike Webb at mew@alliance-games.com by Wednesday, November 8 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
7) Alliance and WizKids will judge the photos and pick the best HorrorClix Halloween House Party. The winning retailer receives:
• A full set of HorrorClix limited editions for each participant (up to 20) and the retailer!
• A Great Cthulhu for each participant (up to 20) and the retailer!
• An exclusive, free pre-release event for HorrorClix: The Lab!
• Pictures posted on www.wizkidsgames.com!
8) Fifteen runner-up venues will receive a free Alien vs. Predator: Aliens Set and a HorrorClix limited edition figure for each participant (up to 20).
9) Winners will be notified and announced on Wednesday, November 15.
