FUNimation’s Robotech: Shadow Chronicles Premieres in Theaters Friday

Produced by Harmony Gold and directed by Tommy Yune, the all-new, feature-length motion picture stars the voices of Mark Hamill (Star Wars: Episodes IV-VI) and Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space 9). Reuniting characters like Scott Bernard, Vince Grant and Admiral Hunter, the film resolves a 20-year-old cliffhanger. As Terran forces struggle to repel the Invid invaders, Hunter’s mysterious disappearance sets in motion a betrayal that threatens to tear apart the Robotech team – and Earth itself! Featuring a mix of traditional anime and computer generated (CG) graphics, the movie boasts high-definition video production, 5.1 digital surround sound and a score performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
