Only days after reaching stores on March 12, both the DC Direct
Superman
Action Figure and
Superman: Bizarro Action Figure have sold out at DC
Comics and Diamond.
“We knew that pent-up demand for DC Direct
Superman action figures was high,” said DC Vice President - Sales &
Marketing Bob Wayne. “Clearly, interest built even further as retailers
and consumers saw them in solicitation and in the trade
press.”
Furthermore, only a limited quantity of the
Superman:
Brainiac 13 Action Figure (
STAR18086Z) is still available for reorders. DC
recommends that retailers place reorders for this figure before it sells out, as
well. Additionally, the following items from the second wave of Superman Action
Figures are now available for advance reorder, and are scheduled to arrive in
stores on June 4:

Superman will also appear as an action figure in the first wave of DC
Direct Justice League Action Figures, which will be solicited in the
April issue of Previews. These figures will include Superman,
Wonder Woman, Green Lantern - Kyle Rayner, The Flash, and
Aquaman, and will be orderable individually or via Inner and
Master Assortments (refer to the April catalog for more
details).
