At a convention panel last summer, I joked (with a real-life 7-foot Vader breathing down my neck) that the upcoming Star Wars mini-series Darth Vader and the Lost Command chronicled “the biggest failure of Vader’s career.” Boy, did I hear about it! Fans do not want their Vader to fail!

Fortunately, readers will discover that the Dark Lord’s “failure” is all part of his plan, and for retailers that means the series should be a success. Written by The Force Unleashed’s Haden Blackman, with art by comics stalwarts Rick Leonardi and Dan Green, Lost Command features Vader at his baddest best! And did I mention the covers by Tsuneo Sanda?
