How was your FCBD event? It was the best ever. We are seeing more and more young children. Character appearances really make it fun for the kids.

What did you like about the Retailer Summit? Talking with other retailers.

What aspect of your store are you most proud of? Our very good staff!

What do you do that is innovative within your store? We like our splash lighting.

What has been your best in-store promotion? Free Comic Book Day

What has been your best out-of-store or cross-promotion? Movie Theaters

What recent changes have you made to your store? We moved the store and added better lighting (including the splash track lights).

What are your plans for the near future? Add a point of sale system.

How did you choose your store name? My wife chose it, actually. She thought it would be best to select a short name as you will be writing it thousands of times over.

Manga is another category that is well-represented at the King. Comics from publishers large and small are available here, along with mini-busts and supplies. Manager James Risk attempts to evade detection while owner Tyler Hoke stands proudly in a handsome FCBD T-Shirt.
