What did you like about the Retailer Summit? The last one I attended was the Las Vegas Summit; I appreciated Diamond’s efforts to encourage West Coast dealers to come to the Summit.
What aspect of your store makes you most proud? The three mainstays of the store, comics, games, manga = diversity
What do you do that is innovative within your store? Run it as a business instead of a hobby store
What has been your best promotion? Tiawanna Tuesday, customers come in and haggle their best deal, we try and sell them MORE ...
What recent changes have you made to your store? Added more graphic novel shelving
What are your plans for the near future? Have recently lost some good, long-term staff, and am concentrating on training new good, long-term staff.
What have you seen within the From the Road Photo Reports that you have used in your own store? Inspiration ideas from the pictures, some good ideas of what to do and many of what not to do :)
