Behold… the world of the bargain comic reader.
The beloved bargain bin is a staple of any comic book shop, but very few have what could be called an exhaustive selection of some of the newest and most popular books. For a bargain comic reader to get involved with a new story, they have to “shop-hop”—but that means spending gas money or bus fare — and two or three stores.
Actually, that was the world of the bargain comic book reader. Now, thanks to comic book publishers re-releasing many of their best titles for the wee price of a buck, it's never been easier to pick up a good read. And the selection is as varied as on any new comics day.
