Otomo's Hipira Rises at Dark Horse
The legendary creator of Akira will bring his distinctive brand of
storytelling to a new children's tale starring a charming denizen of the dark in
Dark Horse Comics' Hipira: The Little Vampire HC (JAN050085, $13.95), a
48-page story written by Katsuhiro Otomo and illustrated by Shinji
Kimura.
The popularity of Dark Horse's Akira TPs - as well as Domu, The Legend of Mother Sarah, and many other works - illustrate the high regard in which manga readers hold Otomo.
