Fans Get Lost in Labyrinth All Over Again with Goblin King Jareth Figure
Labyrinth: where everything seems possible - and nothing is what it seems.
Palisades Toys captures a bit of that movie's mystery and magic with its
Labyrinth: Goblin King Jareth Action Figure (DEC053798, $39.99), offered in
the Toys & Models section of the December Previews!
Audiences were drawn into Labyrinth in 1986, when Jim Henson, George Lucas and David Bowie collaborated on an elaborate, Gothic, fantasy film that combined live action performances (including one by a young Jennifer Connelly) with Muppet-like creatures and special visual effects. A cult classic, the movie still mesmerizes moviegoers nearly two decades later.
Palisades proudly presents the first in its series of 12"-tall collectible Labyrinth action figures with the Jareth Classic Figure, which also happens to be the premier David Bowie action figure. Advance-solicited for shipping in April 2006, it features wicked attention to detail, down to the brown and blue eyes, and 27 points of articulation for maximum, mischievous poseability. Jareth Classic cuts a dashing figure in his signature Goblin King costume of regency shirt, breeches and riding boots, but a king just isn't a king without some regal baubles, so each figure also includes three magical crystal balls, a riding crop for disciplining disobedient goblins and a magnificently intricate necklace. Additionally, one figure per case will also sport Jareth's purple leather coat.
The Labyrinth Deluxe Action Figure is advance solicited for shipping in April 2006.
