WizKids Tempts Dark Side, Danger with New Marvel HeroClix Offerings

WizKids turns to Marvel Comics’ darker side and lives dangerously with its Marvel HeroClix: Sinister Booster Pack (APR06 4239, $7.99), Sinister ClixBrix (APR06 4240, $95.88) and X-Men Danger Room Game (APR06 4241, $14.99), all April Previews Featured Items!

WizKids has created an industry out of its “Clix" system, in which combat statistics and abilities are indicated by a dial inside the figure’s base. Originally limited to just Marvel characters, HeroClix has expanded to include other publishers, but the first is still one of the best as these new products illustrate.

The Sinister Booster Pack contains four figures, one bystander token, rules sheet and a battlefield condition, object or feat card. The Marvel HeroClix: X-Men Danger Room Game contains six exclusive, pre-painted, predetermined figures, two new 3-D objects, an updated rules book, one new Powers and Abilities Card, a quick start guide, two Battlefield Condition cards, one token sheet, two dice, a Clix ring and one new Danger Room map.

All three products are set to ship on June 28.
