Curtain Falls on "Hush" in Batman #619
Batman's pursuit of the mysterious new villain, Hush, has kept readers on
the edge of their seats for one of the most acclaimed stories in the series'
history. After a suspense-filled year, one of the Dark Knight's most exciting
cases will be resolved in September when Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, & Scott
Williams present the final chapter of their epic "Hush" storyline in the pages
of DC Comics' Batman #619.
Batman #619 -- which will wrap up the many threads that make up the complex tapestry of Batman's most challenging case, culminating in the revelation of the identity of the elusive Hush -- is offered in two editions. The Enhanced Cover Edition (JUL030146, $2.25) will ship with two Jim Lee covers -- one featuring Batman's allies, the other showcasing his foes -- in a 50/50 ratio. A standard Newsstand Edition (JUL030148, $2.25), bearing a one-panel cover of Batman's allies, is also offered.
Both versions are scheduled to ship on September 24. For newcomers to the story, the Batman: Hush HC (STAR18383, $19.95) -- which collects Batman #608-#612 -- is currently available from comics shops everywhere.
