Tying into its relaunch of Vampirella, Dynamite Entertainment is giving you the chance to sink your teeth into bigger and better sales with two new books compiling the sultry bloodsucker’s exploits and her most stunning depictions: the Vampirella Archives Volume 1 HC (978-1-60690-175-5, $49.99) and Art of Vampirella HC (978-1-60690-176-2, $29.99).

Vampirella debuted in 1969 in a black & white magazine boasting a stunning cover by legendary artist, Frank Frazetta. Vampirella #1 quickly made publishing history with its depiction of a vampire heroine, and its success prompted comics giants DC and Marvel to launch horror titles of their own. Vampirella appeared in this magazine format throughout the 1970s. Many of these classic stories were illustrated by the legendary artist Jose Gonzalez and have remained quite popular with comics fans to the present day.

“Vampirella is one of the most well known and longest running comic characters in the history of the business. Outside of Marvel and DC characters, very few comics characters that debuted in the '60s still resonate with fans today,” said Nick Barrucci, President of Dynamite Entertainment. “Our acquisition of this iconic brand is another step in Dynamite's exciting growth and builds on the ongoing success of our line.”

Featuring work by Forest J. Ackerman, Donald F. Glut, Tom Sutton, Neal Adams, Ernie Colon, Billy Graham, Alan Weiss, Jeff Jones, and Frank Frazetta, the Vampirella Archives HC Volume One collects the terrifying first seven issues of the magazine's original run, reprinted in its magazine-sized format. It also boasts the very first Vampirella cover by Frazetta.

Scott Campbell, Michael Turner, Jae Lee, Adam Hughes, Mark Texeira, Joe Jusko, Arthur Suydam, and many more, represented in the 216-page Art of Vampirella hardcover, which sports a sexy cover by Dave Stevens.

Plus, don't forget about Dynamite's currently stocked Vampirella Masters Series Volume 1 TP: Grant Morrison SC (978-1-60690-180-9, $24.99). Over a decade ago, two of the comic industry's most prolific writers – Grant Morrison and Mark Millar – joined together to craft what some consider Vampirella's finest run in her long history. The Vampirella Masters Series Volume 1 collects "Ascending Evil" from Vampirella Monthly #13, "Holly War" from Vampirella Monthly #4 – #6, "Blood Red Game" from the Vampirella 25th Anniversary Special, and "Cold Day in Hell" from Vampirella Strikes #6. This edition also collects interviews with Morrison, Millar, Connor, and Palmiotti. It all began right here for these creators and now it's collected in this beautiful trade paperback edition featuring a stunning cover by Jae Lee.
