RSVPs for NYCC Retailer Appreciation Breakfast Due Today

The RSVP due date for this year's Retailer Appreciation Breakfast at New York Comic Con is today, September 28, so make sure you sign up now!

On Friday, October 8, the fifth annual New York Comic Con will kick off with a special Retailer Appreciation Breakfast hosted by Diamond, Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics. Diamond customers attending the breakfast will also receive free admission for all three days of NYCC, including Professional Hours from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. immediately following breakfast!

Running from 8:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. ET on October 8, the Retailer Appreciation Breakfast will take place in room 1A-08 of the Jacob K. Javits Center, host site of the New York Comic Con. During the breakfast, members of Diamond’s Upper Management Team will release further details on Day Early Delivery.

Additionally, representatives from Dark Horse, DC, and Marvel Comics will be on hand to discuss a variety of topics and hold an open Q&A session for retailer feedback.

Sponsors will also contribute special giveaways to a “Retailer Thank You Pack” that retailers will receive in gratitude for attending. As in previous years, retailers will be able to preview the giveaways during check-in, as items included in the bags will be on display.

Diamond customers attending the free Retailer Appreciation Breakfast are encouraged to bring their appetites, as the menu will feature authentic NY bagels; traditional croissants; seasonal fruit salad; scrambled eggs with chives; breakfast sausage & bacon; signature red potato home fries; apple, orange & cranberry juices; and both regular & decaf coffee.

To accommodate as many stores as possible, attendance will be limited to two (2) attendees per store. You must register 10 days prior to the convention to ensure a place at the breakfast and to receive free admission to NYCC.

Also, don't forget about New York Comic Con’s Exhibit Hall, which opens for professionals from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8. Public hours run from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8; 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9; and 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 10. Retailers can begin making plans now by going to the official New York Comic-Con website.
