Bid on Signed, Ltd. Ed. Prints by Larry Elmore at Open House

Alliance Game Distributors is thrilled to announce exciting new additions to its growing list of Charity Auction items up for bid at the 2010 Alliance Open House – three signed, limited edition prints by fantasy artist Larry Elmore!
For more than 20 years, Elmore has been creating some of the world’s most acclaimed and popular fantasy & science fiction art, setting the standard for illustration in the field of role-playing games. In addition to producing covers for Dungeons & Dragons, AD&D and other games, the artist is perhaps best known for his forays into the world of Dragonlance.

Open House attendees will be able to bid on three different limited edition prints, all signed by Elmore. Exemplifying the illustrator’s expertise in the fantasy field, the auction items include Dragons of Autumn Twilight (#857 of 1000); Crimson Dawn (#633 of 750); and Castle of Deception (#869 of 1000). Winning bidders will be able to frame the pieces to hang in their stores’ gaming areas, give away as prizes, or resell to Elmore enthusiasts to help pay for their tax-deductible sojourn to the Open House.
These stunning, limited edition prints join an autographed copy of the Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy RPG “Red Box” edition – signed by original illustrator Elmore and creators R.A Salvatore & Ed Greenwood – donated to the Charity Auction by Wizards of the Coast!
A regular tradition at Alliance Open Houses and Diamond Retailer Summits, the Charity Auction features awesome items like limited edition merchandise, autographed products, and much more. Auction proceeds will benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, ProLiteracy and The Hero Initiative.
Running Friday, October 8 through Saturday, October 9 at the Grand Wayne Center in Ft. Wayne, IN, the Open House offers two days of entertaining and educational programming designed to help specialty retailers improve their businesses.
With that in mind, Alliance vendors have been donating lots of great merchandise for use as Giveaways, Door Prizes, & Charity Auction Items, products lucky retailers can use to help pay for the tax-deductible trip and boost sales in their stores.
