PREVIEWS Plus Returns to Mondays, Expands Customer Ordering Window

Effective January 31, PREVIEWS Plus – Diamond’s weekly online tool for soliciting products outside of the normal PREVIEWS solicitation cycle – will be posted on Mondays, rather than Wednesdays.

The change will take effect with PREVIEWS Plus #956, which will go live on Diamond’s Retailer Services Website at 9:00 a.m. ET on Monday, January 31. The corresponding full-color PDF and text file of this edition will also be available for downloading at this time.

PREVIEWSworld.com will also feature new PREVIEWS Plus items on its home page every Monday for consumers, with a link to the new listings.

Please note that, while the live date for PREVIEWS Plus has changed, orders for PREVIEWS Plus will continue to be due on the following Monday. Thus, orders for PREVIEWS Plus #956 will be due by 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, February 7.

The schedule change will give customers more time to collect PREVIEWS Plus orders from their customers and place them with Diamond. The current schedule gives them a six-day window (including Saturday and Sunday). The new schedule will give them an eight-day window to collect and place orders.

It will also allow Diamond Customer Service Representatives to bring each week’s PREVIEWS Plus offerings to their customers’ attention on Tuesdays during their regular calls to discuss weekly shipments.

PREVIEWS Plus allows retailers to review, download, and forward a full-color PDF of solicitations to their customers and/or print the document for in-store use. In addition to the week’s solicitations, the PDF contains space for a store stamp, as well as spaces for consumer information and an order form that they can complete and return to retailers.
