Enter to Win Thor: An IMAX 3D Experience Tickets
Do you have a creative Thor display? Are you ready to max out your sales with a Thor window treatment like that is out of this world? Then we want to see it, and we'll give you IMAX tickets in return!
As part of the partnership between, Diamond and IMAX, we are giving you the chance to win 10 free IMAX tickets to see Thor by creating a display promoting the movie and related items in your shop.
To enter the contest, send photos of your creative in-store Thor display along with your name, your store's name, and its location to press@freecomicbookday.com (Subject line: FCBD Thor IMAX Contest) by Monday, May 9.
Doing so will enter you into the contest, and two lucky retailer accounts will be picked to receive 10 free IMAX tickets to Thor. If you were one of the accounts that previously received a free Thor IMAX poster, those may come in handy when creating your display!
As a reminder, IMAX theatres playing Thor will receive suggestions for various local extensions of this partnership – and they are being encouraged to touch base with you, their local comic retailer! Cross-promotional ideas might include Store Promotions & Displays, Ticket Stub Promotions, Theatre Lobby Displays, Store Fliers, and more. (As all IMAX theatres are individually owned and operated, it is at the theatre’s discretion as to whether they will participate in local promotions.)
IMAX will promote FCBD11 to their tens of thousands of IMAX.com subscribers via an email blast, in addition to highlighting the event on IMAX.com. They will also post messages about FCBD11 via their social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter. As with our previous collaborations with IMAX for Star Trek and Watchmen, Diamond will support the IMAX partnership with ads on websites and in various newsletters, as well as other initiatives.
