San Francisco's Comix Experience Celebrates 21st Anniversary on April 3

No caption.The oldest comic book store in San Francisco with the same owner and location, Brian Hibbs’s Comix Experience is commemorating 21 years in business on Saturday, April 3.

Benefiting the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund – a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community – Hibbs’s CE:21 is taking place concurrent to WonderCon and begins at 8 PM on Saturday with a “Coming of Age” party.

No caption.Everyone in attendance who donates to the CBLDF will receive a “goodie bag” with over $75 worth of comics, toys and miscellany donated by Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics & Top Cow Productions, Marvel Comics, Avatar Press, Dynamite Entertainment, Fantagraphics Books, Oni Press, Top Shelf Productions, VIZ Media, and other publishers. There will also be an art auction to benefit the CBLDF. (Donations of art for the auction are still being accepted.)

Onsite will be an El Tonayense Taco Truck sponsored by Image Comics, and plenty of liquid refreshments courtesy of 21st Amendment Brewery.
